Tanner Van Maanen has been coaching for 8 seasons in the Cypress baseball program. He has held many responsibilities as assistant coach at Cypress. He has been the JV coach, Varsity assistant, and responsible for many weight/ strengthen routines at Cypress. He was a 2005 Cypress High School graduate, where he was the starting first baseman for 3 seasons, including the 2005 CIF championship team. As a coach he had the privilege of being part of an amazing staff that would go onto winning a CIF Championship again in 2013. He is currently coaching the Head Varsity Baseball Coach and teaching at Ocean View High School.
