OCP has really made a name for itself in the last year and it sure has welcomed 2014 with a bang. The 10u team lead off the year with a Tournament Championship on January 4/5 and they followed up with a Tournament Finalist on January 11/12 in the USSSA Winter Classic. The organization has become more recognized due to the solid work from our coaching staff and families that help make this program a “Premier” program in Orange County.
Our OCP 13u Navy team went 5-0 in the USSSA Winter Classic to win the championship. Their bats were on fire all 5 games and Troy Melton and Nick Lycett both pitched superb outings in the Semi’s and Finals. The Navy team is one of our 3 13u OCP teams for the 2014 season. The 13u Gray team also capped off a great weekend with a Tournament Championship at the Xtreme Diamond Sports Tournament. The 13u Gray team went 4-0 on the weekend battling through a sickened team. Throughout the weekend we lost 3 players with the stomach flu and our head coach. They overcame lots of hurdles and to win a big game!!! Congrats!!!

OCP 11u Gray won their first tournament championship under the new OC Premier name. They went 3-0-1 in the Triple Crown Sports Tournament. The team beat AK baseball which is another local program, 9-2 in the championship game.
This will go down as one of the most successful weekends in the OC Premier program! I am proud of these boys hard work and dedication.
