The 13u RD Baseball team took the field after a wet weekend of rain against the Irvine Bluewave. The 13’s improved to a perfect 3-0 in CCYB play as they played a 9 inning game. The day was highlighted by a spectacular pitching and defense performance. Sam Gutierrez set the tone for the pitchers as he pitched 3 shutout innings of no hit ball. Sam walked the second batter of the game but then struck out the next seven of eight hitters he faced. Zach Toscas led the way for the offense going 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. The team looks to improve on its record with a home double header at Canyon JV Sunday March 6th at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
