Jason Corapci – Head Instructor and OCP Coordinator

Jason is an Anaheim Hills native that proudly serves the community and kids throughout Southern California with his expertise in the game. He brings a long list of achievements and goals to the table. In 2005 he established the former RD Baseball, now OC Premier Baseball with the goals to help youth baseball players enjoy, learn, understand and play the game the right way to achieve at the next level. Jason was a four year varsity starter at Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills where he garnered back to back C.I.F. Championships (’96,’97). Throughout his years at Canyon he was a two time League MVP, two time All County, All C.I.F., All State and 1999 Orange County Batting Champion with a average of .582. As a 16 year old in 1997 he was selected to play on the inaugural season of the 16 U USA national team that competed in Taiwan.

In the fall of 1999 he attended the Cal State Fullerton where he was a two time all Big West selection and two time College World Series Participant. Jason went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management in 2007. He took a detour in receiving his degree due to playing professionally with the Houston Astros for three years after being selected in the 29th round of the 2003 MLB Amateur Baseball Draft. After three years of playing, Jason retired from playing the game and pursued what he loves; coaching . In 2006 Brett Kay, former CSUF teammate was hired as the head coach at J Serra Catholic H.S. He then hired Jason Corapci to be his Assistant Coach on Varsity. Jason spent three years at J Serra where they garnered two playoff appearances and a 2009 Trinity League Championship. OC Premier Baseball is the stepping stone to keeping a solid program intact in the community and it is also a great opportunity for the aspiring young baseball player.
